How To Treat Recurring UTI In Children? What Diet Plan Should Follow?
Hi. I have a 4-year old daughter who has UTI. She started to have recurring UTI from her 6 months of age. Laboratory result says pus cells -2-4... Acidic 6.5 ... Is it UTI again? What is the remedy for that? What shouldn't i give for food? Thank you.
Hi Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day
i would suggest you to give her lot of water to maintain high urine output to help preventing infection. Apart from that recurrent urinary tract infection even in girl child requires further reassessment by an Pediatric Surgeon to rule out urinary anatomical abnormality predisposing to uti, getting ultrasound abdomen and vcug are required.
Take care
