How To Treat Pain In Right Underarm And Shoulder?

I have this aching pain in my upper right arm, and sometimes in the shoulder. It isn't going away. Some days it's tolerable and others it's just terrible. Also, I can't sleep unless I sleep on my arm, because this helps to cease the pain, and the pain is worse when laying down or reclining. When standing, the pain is tolerable. Icing my arm, taking Tylenol or Aspiring, etc., does nothing to relieve the pain. It's a constant ache. I'm wondering what this is and how to cease the pain. I can't see this being a strain or pulled muscle of some sort, as I haven't been doing any strenuous activities and I have full range of mobility of my arm. Thanks in advance.
