How To Treat Dislocation Of My Ulna Bone In My Left Arm?

I have ehlers-danlos syndrom and I found out recently that i have a slight about 1/2 inch dislocation of my ulna bone in my left arm. If I go to the doctor, is there any other way I can fix it besides just popping it back into place such as pinning the bones?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The displaced fragment has to be aligned in its proper position, otherwise, the range of movements may be decreased and affect your daily activities.

Consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. An X-ray forearm may be required for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
