How To Treat Cough, Sore Throat And Sinus Congestion
HI there,
It's been about 2 weeks now and I've had a worsening cough, sore throat and sinus congestion. When I cough, it's hacking and it hurts as if I broke a blood vessel on my right side, the pain will blur my right eye vision. In addition I've been having vivid hallucinations the last 3 days and it's usually about food. I find myself with an open mouth before I snap out of it. It's so strange. I have no clue what's wrong but I've never felt more tired and congested.

Thanks for writing to HCM,
You have cough which could have been because of the sinus infections .The nose and sinus drains at the back of nose and down to the throat, which irritates the throat .
Then you have developed larynx and tracheal (wind pipe ) irritation , so you have such bad cough.
You need to consult your ENT specialist and get examined.Then you might require antibiotics ,decongestants , and in addition oral steroids for some time so that the tracheal irritation goes off.
