How To Treat Chronic Tailbone And Back Pain And Numbness After Pregnancy?

Through my pregnancy with my son I had pain in tailbone. After giving birth my MRI showed I fractured my coccyx due to childbirth with a large hemmatoma. I was advised to repeat MRI two months later and nothing changed. It said on the report they couldn t rule out a mass because of the hematoma. Now over a year later I have pain in my tailbone area still, numbness in right arm, hip pain on left side that radiates down the leg, sharp shooting pains through tailbone and low back pain and stiffness, along with chronic diarrhea. Should I repeat the MRI or is this just the way it will be the rest of my life?

I think you should get MRi of the spine and tail bone. I think there an be disc prolapse in your back causing pain in the leg. I think your tail bone pain is different from this leg pain. If hematoma is not present then it may need to see by biopsy if this is a mass. it can be done by CT scan guided needle biopsy.
