Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
So sorry to hear about your problem and will try my level best to resolve it..
As per your complain as you had white coating over the tongue and sores in mouth just on the next day of oral sex and your partner had a history of herpes..
But your symptoms does not seems to be due to herpes as herpes had a
incubation period [ time duration between the exposure to virus and occurrence of symptoms] of minimum of two days and the symptoms will occur after that only..
The white coating seems to be most probably due to
fungal infection known as Thrush and
white spots or sores seems to be due to apthous ulcers or canker sores..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like microscopic examination of scrapings from the tongue can help in diagnosis..
In case of thrush you can be advised anti-fungal medications like Nystatin mouthwash,
Clotrimazole lozenges and oral medicines like
Fluconazole..
Any further questions are welcome..
Regards..
