Hello and welcome to healthcare Magic .

You are suffering from purpura ,Purpura occurs when small blood vessels join together or leak blood under the skin.It can be- nonthrombocytopenic purpuras with normal platelet (the main blood cell responsible for clotting mechanism) counts in the blood or due to low platelet counts that is -thrombocytopenic purpuras.

In your case the most common considerations would be the following

1.Blood clotting disorders-coagulopathies are disorders where the blood does not clot easily due to various deficiencies , they can be acquired .

2.Drugs that affect platelet aggregation -like aspirin ,clopidogrel (Plavix) and ticlopidine (Ticlid).

3.Fragile blood vessels (senile purpura) - Easy skin bruising in older people.. As people age, their skin becomes thinner and more fragile. Hence, bruises (senile purpura) tend to form easily as the blood vessels in the skin are also more fragile.

4.Inflammation of the blood vessels-like Henoch -schonlein purpura

5 .Amyloidosis- a degenerative disease that can affect any organ of the body .

You should seek immediate medical care for serious symptoms, including heavy external bleeding, blood in the urine or stool, double vision, severe head or neck pain, repeated vomiting, difficulty walking, convulsions, or seizures.

You should seek prompt medical care if you experience mild but unstoppable external bleeding or joint swelling and stiffness.
