Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

There is a possibility that your son has obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). In addition to snoring, other signs of OSA include restless sleeping (tossing and turning in bed), being fatigued when he wakes up in the morning as well as during the day, and enlarged tonsils and adenoids. Obesity and elevated blood pressure are also associated with OSA.

It is best to have him evaluated by a paediatrician (if possible), ENT specialist sooner rather than later. We want him wide awake and ready to learn when he starts school.

I hope this has been helpful. Please return should you have further concerns.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Dr.Arnold Zedd
