Hi, I am a 27 year old female. I was hit in my ear yesterday and experinced immediate hearing loss, but not all the way. Discovered later last night my ear is bleeding on the inside. Now I still cant hear and it sounds like there is bubbles in and behind my ear
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you have got injury to the ear drum leading to perforation and it is the cause of hearing loss, pain and bleeding.. Bubbles inside ear are felt due to blood accumulation.. You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get an Otoscopic examination done and if perforation is ruled out and if it is small you will be advised to take antibiotics, Anti-inflammatory painkiller, decongestant as well as avoiding loud sounds and water exposure like swimming.. Large perforation need surgical correction..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
