How To Treat CHF?

My husband has CHF with and EF of 10-15%, Invasive aspergillus, and guillian barre and has been hospitalized since Dec 28th. He has been on and off of the ventilator and a 2nd tracheostomy was performed today. He is 45 years old and is 6ft 1in down to 133 lbs. He has a G-tube. When he is not sedated he is able to respond appropriately. Has anyone had a case similar to his? In 2011 he was diagnosed with idiopathic cardiomypathy and a PPM/AICD was put in. His EF decreased to 20% but went up to 45% and he was living an active life and working full time until he caught a cold in late Nov of 2013...
