Hi Dr. Manjunath. I started taking budesonide about two weeks ago after my GI doctor prescribed it to me for my ileitis. I had blood in my stool a couple of times before taking this medicine but now I ve had at least one stool with blood in the water per day for about six days.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, apart from the medicine the underlying cause of blood stain stool is matter of concern most of the time it is due to anal fissure, hemorrhoids, and intestinal infection if the diagnosis is yet to be cleared then better to get done concern test till then you can continue the given medicine in another words differential diagnosis is matter of concern hope this information helps.
