How To Stop Acid Reflux Which Is Not Stopping Even After Medication? Extreme Pain In Between The Chests.

I have sever acid reflux, which has gotten worse in the last couple days to the point were I can't eat anything without getting acidreflux. I am on perscription medication for this but does matter. Last night I started feeling like there Is a knot in the middle of my chest between my breasts. With this knot comes bursts of extreme pain. I am also feeling like I cannot breath properly. What causing this and how can I get it to stop so I can eat.

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You can take combination of tablet pantoprazole 40 mg with tablet domperidone 10 mg half hour before food twice daily for six weeks.You can also take anta acid syrups(5 ml)thrice daily.
You should avoid hot,spicy and oily food.
Avoid smoking and alcohol if you take these things.
You also need few investigation include routine hemogram,RBS,LFT,RFT,Ultrasound of abdomen,Upper GI endoscopy.
