Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of black spot/dry skin on left cheek which clearly indicating 'sunburn' also known as 'melanoma'. The sun act as a trigger factor for melanocytes to produce melanin pigment that causes dark spots .The severely burned skin appears dry and scaly.

I would suggest you to :-

- Give cold compresses to skin for 10 minutes twice a day .

- Apply broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 15 which going ouside in sun exposure .

- Apply Kojic acid cream twice a day for one month .

- Use face wash with benzoyl peroxide as a ingredients .

If condition persist for more than a month. Then consult dermatologist for proper evaluation and rule out causes like skin infection or allergic reaction. Doctor may prescribe hydroquinone or tretinoin cream.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
