I have poly cyctic ovarian syndrom. My first pregnancy was in my tubes. I had to emergency surgery to have part of my tube removed. I finally had one child by emergency c section. He is 7 now and has light autism. I have had 3 more miscarriages. My doctor recommended mirena. I will be turning 40 in a couple of days. I did not want the mirena. Many friends had it with terribles results and side effects. I had it put in 3months ago. OMG!!!!!!! It was terrible. I gave it a chance.. LOTS of bleeding major cramps. Acne all over my arms face and back. I also started losing my hair more than my cat!!!!!!! I also gained about 7 pounds. I just got it removed 2 days ago. I also have high blood pressure and was on cloversyl plus for a year. I got my blood pressure to normal and was taken off cloversyl. Once I started the mirena my blood pressure went back up and Im back on the medication. I am not overweight and take care of my body so what do you think I should do now??????? What would be good for me??? Thanks Natalie
