How To Manage A Smashed Toe That Has Only Nail Growing But Skin Is Black And Painful?
Hi, I had smashed my toe almost two years ago and now it is just not growing back in the skin and is getting almost black in colour what do I do as the nail is still growing just not on the skin yet it is painful due to it pushing into the sides of the toe.
I would recommend you to get a surgeon 's opinion or you can send image of the foot to me, If skin is not growing then just nail growth is not sufficient and it will not going to be of any benefit, you might need a surgical procedure. It may be excison of some part of the nail.
