Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

This sounds like an ankle sprain. Taking an MRI will be of good choice to understand the grade of injury. Stabilize the ankle in ankle brace. Allow the healing to occur.

Try out balance board training exercise which will help stabilize the ankle joint and improve the muscle imbalances. She should be able to dance again.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
