How To Heal Ankle Sprain?

I was playing raquetball and jumped up to hit a ball. When I landed, I landed just fine on both feet. There was no twisting or anything, but as I landed, I immediately felt some pain in both of my ankles. Today when I woke up, I was having difficulty moving around and walking, because I realized both of my ankles hurt when I do. It is not unbearable, but I'm wondering if I could've sprained my ankles without ever twisting them? If not, what could be causing the pain.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain in bilateral ankles after landing on both feet can be due to injury to soft tissues of the feet.
Sprain is caused by injury or rupture of ligaments.
Strain is caused due to stretching of the muscle fibers.
Sudden landing on bilateral feet can cause any of these problems.
You need to consult an orthopedician for clinical examination and relevant investigations.

Thanks and take care
