How To Get Rid Of Scars Caused By Lichen Planus?

I am having visible dark patches caused by lichen planus almost everywhere on my body. I was prescribed oral steroids which i have stopped taking now since there are no new marks or itching. I am concerned about the scars which don t seem to be fading at all. Is there any topical cream/ lotion that can be used to treat the scars? Will diprovate work?

Hi,

You suffer from post inflammatory hypermelanosis, after healing of lichen planus lesions. The patches may fade by themselves after few months. So, there is no need to worry. Topical steroid like diprovate might cause side effects ....depigmentation and atrophy after long term use. So,avoid it..ok

Hope this helps.
