How To Get Rid Of Pain While Cough?

I have bronchitis and was given antibiotics and ventolin but everytime i cough the back of my head just above the neck hurts and also on my temples. When i bend it also hurts like a throbbing pain. I am also on gerd medication. So my question is how can i make the pain go away when i cough?

Persistent coughing can be associated with headaches and chest discomfort.

The most effective way of decreasing the discomfort would be to treat your coughing.
In addition to the antibiotics and ventolin , you may want to consider the use of a cough suppressant, these are normally available over the counter.

If this is not an option, you can try honey, this has been shown to help coughing.
