How To Get Rid Of Darker Colored Skin Around The Creases Of Nose ?

i have some darker colored skin around the creases of my nose. not sure what they are or how to get rid of them. i do suffer from acne and have been using proactiv which has helped a lot but this area is still pretty bad looking. and i was also wanting to know of any treatments to help with acne scars and dark spots

Hi,

I can understand your concern for darker colored skin around the creases of nose.

The condition explained by you appears to be Dyssebacia. It is skin condition characterized by flaky, greasy scales and small reddish or yellowish dots on the side nose, or other area of face. It may be mildly itchy and may appear as acne-form eruption because of the blockage of sebaceous (oil) glands near side of nose.

The condition can be treated by oral administration of Niacin and riboflavin ( B complex capsule). Use a face wash containing salicylic acid 1-2 %, Apply Ketoconazole 2% cream twice a day and it will improve the condition.
