How to deal with a hearing loss?

my left ear nerve is weak due to which i cant hear properly from my left ear...
i went to an ENT doc,so he told me dat there is 80% hearing loss..n it is because my nerve is weak and there is no cure for nerve weakness...
is that true??
there is no cure for nerve weakness?

hello and welcome to health care magic,
Unfortunately at the present state there is no miracle cure for hearing loss due to weakness of the nerve. There are some studies in the rats with stem cells but these are too early to opine.
You must get hearing aid in any case as it will help you and also make sure you do not get further loss. Imagine wearing a spectacle which we do not find any problem with and do not question the loss. The ears also work in a similar way
