I was treated for a UTI with antibiotics that gave me yeast infection it seems to be clearing up but is not quite gone. My doctor gave me two pills that seem to help but not completely. Today I had a physical done and there were 2-3+ leucocytes in my urine. Is there anything I can do to completely clear it up or should I contact my doctor for another dose of Fluconazole 150Mg?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have urinary tract infection by fungus. It was treated by fluconazole. Now you have 2-3 WBC/ hpf in urine. It is normal finding. No need to worry about that. No need of any further antibiotics. Just be relaxed. It is normal variation and few wbc are present in all person. It does not suggest infection. Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
