How To Control Pimples With Precautions?

I am 27 yrs old unmarried girl. I have pimples on my face which are very painful. My skin is very oily and sensitive to heat. I do not know if it allergy or something else. I have these for around 10 years and they remain in both summers and winters. I have tried all sorts of lotions and medicines but to no avail. Kindly suggest an effective remedy. For some time I applied lemon on my skin. Though it used to keep off the oil but it made my skin rough. I took Azithral but of no use. I am now taking isotretinoin which is very effective but I want to know for how long should I continue with it, I mean what is the dosage for full treatment. Also please suggest a good face wash perhaps with salicylic acid. I apply lacto calamine at night which soothes my skin. I just want to control the current proliferation once so that I can then do with some precautions and care.
Thanking You

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it acne can occur due to a number of causes like ily skin, hormonal imbalances, bacterial infection, clogged pores etc..
In your case it seems probably be due to oily skin..
Tretinoin can help in keeping oil low on skin as it has a drying effect..
It is generally give for a period or 4 to 6 months but the exact decision depends upon your dermatologist who has assessed you clinically and who is taking a follow up of your progress with medication..
You can use salicylic acid containing facewash like Saslic and saslic DS facewash, AHA Glow, melaglow etc..
You should also apply a combination of clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide gels over pimples..
You can exfoliate your skin with a scrub weekly to unclog the pores..
Maintain a good facial hygiene.
Limit sun exposure..
Avoid oily food..
Take more of green leafy vegetables and fruits and drink plenty of water..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
