How to control high blood pressure without medication ?

Hi There, I am a 47 years male and have recently been diagnosed by high BP which is in the range of 140-150/ 90-100. Is it possible to get the BP back to normal without medication. I have started going to the gym and have reduced intake of salt. Please advise/help.
