How To Confirm Pregnancy?

I was supposed to start on my period on June 19th, but it never started. I had sex on June 21st and three minutes after an intercourse, we noticed that the condom broke. Ten hours later, I took Next Choice. My period still hasn't started and I'm starting to worry. I know that I won't notice any symptoms of pregnancy because it is too early. But is there a chance that I could be pregnant?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. The emergency contraceptive pill is effective in preventing pregnancy if taken within24 hours of unprotected intercourse in approximately 95% patients.
Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy or due to nextchoice which has the side effect of delaying the next expected periods by2-3 weeks.
I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done, of negative then you can safely wait for next2-3 weeks for the periods to occur.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
