How Should Upper Respiratory Infection, Cough And Back Pain Be Treated?

About two weeks ago I got pretty sick, I went to the doctor and had a upper respirartory infection. Since then I still have a cough but the doctor says everything is okay. I've been having back pain on both sides but limited to the middle of my rib cage and a lil under since I got sick that comes on and off. it hurts the most in between breathes
