Hi my name is Juanita and I am a breast Ca survivor. I was diagnosed in 2007, stage 1. Treated with Lumpectomy and going on 4 years Tamoxifen. Yesterday my Dr. changed my medication to Aridemex as I am 56 years old, menopause. I have been taking Tamoxifen at 10am every morning since 2007 and indole 3 Carbinol at 10pm at night. Never missed a dose. All MRI and Mammogram come back negative thank God and medication. I have read up on Aridemex and everything I read addresses the importance of not taking certain drugs with Aridemex. How can I find out if it is safe for me to continue taking the indole 3 Carbinol at night? I ve looked for studies, can t find anything on taking the two drugs. Forgot to ask my Dr. yesterday will have to wait until monday but for now I would like your opinion.....Very concerned about drug interactions and do not want to do anything that will make Aridemex less beneficial to me. Also how do I know whether or not the indole 3 has played a role in keeping me Cancer free. I am just not sure. What do you think? Thank you. ,
