How Many Times Iridotomy Can Be Done In Eyes Without Damage?

I have narrow angle glaucoma and my Doctor has tried three times in my left eye to perform an iridotomy. The last procedure was painful as he increased the yag laser power. Right eye was done quickly and painlessly as it should. How many times can this be done to one eye without damage?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having narrow angle glaucoma which is requiring an laser iridotomy.
This is usually not painful and can be done easily by increasing the laser energy.
But sometimes if the iris is thick it may not be able to complete iridotomy and in those cases surgical iridotomy can be done.
Laser iridotomy will not cause any problem and can be done safely hence no need yo worry.

Thank you
