How Many Days Will Take To Recover From Typhoid?

hello doctor, m preethi, m suffering frm typhoid frm past 11 days and widal test is S. Typhi O and H - 1:80 DILUTION, S. Paratyphi AH and BH - 1:40 DILUTION, still how many days to recover??? and wat are the ways to get rid of this in faster way???

Typhoid fever is a water born disease caused by Salmonella typhi & paratyphi OH, AH , BH, O ( four strain) .
If dilution in any strain is > 1:160 it termed as positive , otherwise if less than this we term it as negative result .
In your case typhoid fever is not positive in any strain .
The treatment of typhoid depends upon the antibiotics used e.g. if chloramphenico l 500 mg 4 times in day usage for 2-4 weeks times .
While now a days there are so many drugs as Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice in day for 2-4 weeks times .
Usually negative result comes after 6 months times ,if tested.
In my opinion you must consult one more physician and get his opinion.
