Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should first consult TB specialist and check whether you are having tb or not.
No role of IgG and IgM because you had
tuberculosis in the past. Your AFB examination is also normal, so I don't think you are having tuberculosis.
You are having
cough and
wheezing. These can be seen in post tubercular
bronchitis.
So consult tb specialist and get done CT thorax, bronchoscopic evaluation and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
CT and
Bronchoscopy are needed for the diagnosis of tb. If these are suggestive of tb then your may need 9 months of treatment.
If both are negative for tb, then no need for anti tubercular drugs.
PFT is must for the diagnosis of bronchitis. If it is positive then you will need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
So better to first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
