How Long It Takes To Bring Thyroid Levels To Normal To Conceive?

hi.. I was trying to concieve since last 8 months. but it was not happening. we consulted a GY and she did blood tests. My TSH came out to be very high 23.21. nd d GY put me on Thyronorm 100 (1 tab everyday). how much time will it take for the TSH levels to be normal and be able to concieve?

Hello welcome to HCM,
I have read your question and understand your concerns.

You have recently digonesed with hypo Thyroidsm. In Hypo throdism it is difficult to conceive with frequent complains of menstrual irregularity. Once after starting the medicine for hypo Throidsm it will take atleast 3 to 4 weeks to normalise the thyroid report.
So my advise is as following:
1) Continue the same medication for hypo Thyrodism and wait for the thyroid profile to be normalize before conceiving. Repeat your thyroid profile after 6 weeks.
2) Do your sonography of thyroid gland and concerned Endocrinologist. For furthur guidance regarding the same.
