How Long Is Chemotherapy Given For Triple Negative Breast Cancer Patient?
Am scheduled for 4 more chemo treatments. The three drugs are Methotrexate,Cyclophosphamide and Fluorouracil. Was taking taxotere and another one. But they made me extremely sick. Lost 9 pounds. Oncologist changed it to the other three on 1/28/10. I don t know if I feel physically able to do 4 more treatements of even these three. Have triple negative breast cancer, grade 3. How safe to stop after maybe 2 or 3 more treatments?

Triple negative cancer are an aggressive variety..
So sropping chemo earlier is out of question.
If you feel sick one cycle of chemo might be dekayed by a few days if needed till you recover
You may need a total of six cycles each 21 days apart from the other. so a total of 120 days or 4 months. total duration of chemotherapy
