How Long Does The Effect Of Tetanus Shot Last?
How long does a tetanus shot last? My wife sliced her hand on a rusted piece of metal and we ran it under water, it was pretty deep. I then sprayed some bandage spray on it and stopped the bleeding. She can't remember when she got her last booster. She is also over the age of 50.

I have gone through history regarding the injury to your wife.
Tetanus is a dangerous disease but it can be prevented easily. Usually we will tell that 10 shots of Tetanus Toxoid injection for life.
If she as received TT injection in last five years nothing is required. As she cannot remember the last shot of Inj TT my sincere advise is please give her a shot of Inj TT.
