How Long Does Knuckle Sprain Take To Heal?

Hi,
I had a direct forceful blow to the middle knuckle of my pinky finger at a 90 degree angle two weeks ago. A pop followed by blinding pain, swelling bruising and numbness. Went to urgent care, doctor took x rays, no break. Diagnosed as sprain. Splinted. Began range of motion exercises 3 days after being seen. My question is: two weeks later now, finger still very swollen around PIP joint with significant pain upon touching and even with constant range of motion exercises, have only regained 90 degree range of motion without significant pain: should I be seen again or wait it out? Continue splinting?
