How Long Does It Take For Tinnitus To Heal?

Hi. I am having cold and due to that I have the symptoms of tinnitus in my rights ear and also some puffiness. The ENT dr. told me that there is some liquid blocked behind the eardrum in eustachian tube. He gave me Furamist nasal spray nd L24-M tabs. The tabs were so intense in side effects that it gave me so much drowsyness nd vision impairment in one tab over 24 hrs. So he told me not to take it. It is just nasal spray furamist I am taking. It has passed two weeks now nd Just puffiness has been removed but the ringing is still there. How much does it take for the tinnitus to heal?

Hi, Tinnitus you are having is because of Eustachian tube dysfunction and furamist will help in decreasing mucosal edema and better functioning of tube. How much time can bot be predicted but a 3 weeks time should be sufficient for the things to become normal. Do take steam and a mucolytic along with and this should help things in a better way. Regards
