How Long Does Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Take To Cease Post Intake Of Loryna?

I stopped taking Loryna in March of 2015 (age 51). Only two periods in 201after stopping the pill. I bled for 2 weeks in Dec.then started bleeding on Jan. 10th. Dr. Put me back on Loryna on Jan. 29th...still bleeding fairly heavy on Feb. 12th. When will this stop?

Thanks for asking at Healthcare magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Lorena is combine oral contraceptive pill. Besides contraception it helps in regulating menstrual cycle and prevent postmenopausal bleeding due to endometrial hyperplasia.
It should be ideally stopped after 2-3 cycles.
I would like to investigate yourself through transvaginal ultrasound, hysteroscopy to digout the cause if bleeding still persist despite 2 cycles.
