How Long Does Dexamethasone And Zaditen Take To Treat Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis?

Hello. I've been diagnosed with GPC. I was given dexamethasone for a mth along with systane ultra n zaditen. I was given the green light to use my lenses again but i have to continue using the zaditen for six wks. i have not use lenses yet coz i still have mild itchiness on n off. Is it normal to have this itchiness n hw long does it usually go away? Tq v much!

It seems from the history that you are diagnosed with giant papillary conjunctivitis.
The treatment is by use of steroid eye drops and anti allergic eye drops.
The treatment is correct and it usually takes about 1-3 months to respond.
But use of steroid rye drop should be done only when the condition is severe and not responding to treatment by use of anti allergic drugs.
