General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
Thank you for sharing your concern with us.
Healing after such surgical procedure can take from 2 week to few months depending on your general health condition and your comorbid states . If you are having any fever , severe pain , increased redness , any numbing , tingling or foul smelling discharge then contact your clinic immediately as it may be indicative of some kind of complication of surgery in form of nerve damage or infection.
1. elevate the joint as recommended.
2. apply cold packs as recommended .
3. perform joint exercise as recommended .

I wish you good health.
Best Regards,
DR.S.TOMAR
