How Long After Having Late Periods Can I Take A Pregnancy Test?
I got married in August 2014. Normally my periods are not regular, I had periods in Sptember 25th and again on December 1st. Now my stomach is getting bigger and I did 5 home pregnancy tests, all become negative. Then I took Primolut N for three days. Still I didn't get periods, Am I pregnant or any other symptom? Do I need to consult a gynecologist?

Hi, I understand your concern. - Home Pregnancy test is +ve after 8-10 days delay in periods/ Blood HCG test can be +ve around expected day of your coming period. Your periods being irregular you can test after about 3 weeks of sex for pregnancy test. - Primolute N causes withdrawal bleeding in 8-10 days of stopping the pills. - I would suggest for pelvic USG scan / thyroid function tests to point out cause of the abnormality under an able gynecologist's care. Thanks.
