Have had varicose veins behind both legs for 20 years, have worsened over time. Now have constant, nagging cramp at top of left calf. As I am looking down, large vein above and to right of knee will swell and visibly pulse and above to below knee will swell (often on feet for up to 16 hours per day). Pain makes me limp, often sudden and sharp. Also saw PCP recently for periodic dizziness: sudden, extreme bouts that are actually painful and last up to 30 seconds. Balance is affected. Diagnosed with vertigo and given card for vascular surgeon. High BP is managed well w/medication, but occasionally reads low at Publix (110/60). Advise ?
