How Is Pneumonia Infection Transmitted?

Hi my mother died suddenly 7 days ago of brocho pneumonia totally unexpected with no symptoms aged 69 fit and healthy, I was first there first there and handled her for any responses, I have now developed a bit of a cough and wheezing, is it possible to contract the bacterial infection through touch, thanks.

Pneumonia infection spreads by coughing, sneezing, etc. From the problems listed in your question it seems that you might have acquired the infection which has to be confirmed by Chest Xray and CBC.
