How Is Angioplasty Performed?

Doctor,

Can I first get an angiography done and if the result is an angioplasty can we wait for a few days and get the angioplasty done. Which means that the same process of pricking the body shall be repeated twice - is that okay? I am 75 yts, 68 kgs and 165cm.

Hi
yes this is absolute ok if angioplasty is a planned angioplasty .
however if patient is having a m.i or has stenosis more then 90% then angioplasty should be done immediately, but in planned angiogram if stenosis is less then 90% , plannedd deferred angioplasty can be done, decision totally lies on the report of angiography.
