How Early Can Pregnancy Be Confirmed After Unprotected Intercourse?

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex March 15.. I wanted to know if it was possible to go get a blood test tomorrow and see if I m pregnant .. Reason is we got tested positive for Chlamydia due to his previous girlfriend and we did not know until now .. I got off the nexplanon on the 13th .. I just wanna know if there s a chance I could be pregnant and if I can go get a blood test

Hi,

Since you are off from Nexplanon, the chances for you to become pregnant is possible as fertility is regained soon after the protection period is over.

For suspicion regarding pregnancy, you need to miss or have a delay in getting periods. Then you can test your urine for pregnancy by a home pregnancy test. It can be confirmed by blood beta-hCG level measurement followed by transvaginal ultrasound scan.

There are no tests available to detect pregnancy soon after having intercourse, as the following fertilization, it would take about 3 to 5 days for the fertilized ovum to get implanted in the uterus.

Kindly wait until you miss your period and then get the above-mentioned tests done to know the status. If you get your periods in time, then it would be sure that you have not convinced during the present cycle.
