How Could Insect Bite On Bicep Be Treated?

I have an insect bite on my bicep that is a bump with a reddishbrown circle around it. It itches when touched, and I have had it a couple of days. When I looked at pics of insect bites, it resembles a tick bite. I don t have any symptoms. Should I be seen by my physician?

Hello,
Thank you for writing to us.
Routine insect bites are pretty easy to treat and thus there is nothing to worry about.
Apply a hydrocortisone and fusidic acid cream twice a day over affected sites. Oral antihistaminics and analgesics can be added depending on requirement.
Hope you will get well soon.
Thanks
