If bruise on the penis is fresh you may go for antibiotic course and local application of antibiotic cream will help.
Some times at the back of penis where skin joined the penis may get injured causing swelling and bleeding,at this time you go for above mentioned treatment.
if scar is old then apply Vaseline or antibiotic cream.
