Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to an inner ear disorder. Anyway, before starting any treatment, I would recommend performing some tests:

- a doppler ultrasound of the carotid arteries in order to examine the blood flow in them
- thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction
- complete blood count for anemia.

There are many treatment options for tinnitus, but I would recommend starting with GinkGo supplements and then an antidepressant-like sertraline if this does not help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
