About 2 months ago I got a small paper cut right below the head of my penis. It took a while to heal because I didn't pay attention to it right away. Eventually though I put neosporin on it and it healed in a few days. About a week or so after I had sex, I noticed the area around it, extending down my (what my foreskin would be ... I am circumcised) was turning white and dry. There is no pain, no discomfort, its just noticeable and unattractive. I decided to put a moisturizer on it to help it heal and when I noticed it wasn't getting better if not a little worse I figured it could be a cream burn and decided to switch to baby lotion. After it didn't go away after about 2 weeks, I went to the dermatologist. He gave me Desonide steroid creme to help it heal. I've been using it on the area twice a day for the past week and it seems to be doing very little if anything at all. Do you have any suggestions as to what it might be, and any other possible treatments? I really don't want to have to get a biopsy!!!
