im 50yrs old insulindepenent women , having oedema start in left foot then with treatment as ankle foot orthosis shifted to right foot , all blood tests are normal with mild thrombocytosis,my treatments : antibiotics (linezo;ides =targocides inj _ciprofloxacine ) + calcium =alphacalcitriol (one alph ) +diuretics + anti inflamatory creams and tab ....................... since 6/2010 up now no complete improvement

Welcome to hcm, Edema in your legs are to be treated by keeping the limbs in a chair or above the ground level and then by increasing g your diuretics dosage and having massage in your lower limbs While sleeping I advice to keep your legs above the pillow .
