Suggest Best Treatment For Oedema?

I have a swollen foot. The MRI report says oedema on 3rd metatarsal and some on 2nd also. No injury just remember feeling something 2 months ago when walking in flip flops. First treated for cellulitis then sent for xray (which showed up nothing) then finally sent for mri last wk. Mri says appearances r most in keeping with stress/insufficiency injuries . Whats the best thing i can do to help speed up recovery. I have oesteoporosis also.

hello. stress injuries can be because of osteoporosis. osteoporotic bones are prone for injuries. you need to treat osteoporosis. I suggest you get a dexa scan done first. this will confirm osteoporosis and also monitor response. after the scan if osteoporosis is confirmed then you can start
tab risofos 150 mg once a month
cap cholecalciferol 60000 units weekly
tab calcium carbonate 500 mg twice daily
follow up after 8 weeks
thanks
