How Can Knee Joint Swelling With Bruising Be Treated?

10 days ago, I slipped on some ice and twisted my knee joint really well. I didn't feel or hear anything pop as I was going down. There is massive swelling, making it not have much movement. I've done this about four times now, in my life, and MRIs in the past revealed no structural damage. However, this time there seems to be a massive bruise behind the knee, bruising all the way down the back of my calf, and even onto my foot on the inside of the ankle area. The bruised areas, especially on the calf, and ankle don't really hurt at all, but this much bruising has me very concerned.
